"Confessions of a Torso"
Episode #1 Pretty Bad (15 minutes)--is sort
of a rant against gay film and fiction and portrayals of gays in mainstream
media and finally about gays as characterized by the gay rags and some
of the deleterious effects of porno on the quality of "our" lives. This
is related to themes of why do we want to get married so bad and the pressure
to look good that drives Baby, here performing for us, to inject himself
with Sustanon 250 a few hours before a "really macho audition" hoping the
steroidal blend will help give him that je n'ai pas quoi he needs
both for his audition and to be a Self respecting attractive Sexgod in
the West Hollyood Kommunity.
Episode #2 My Life as a Dog at the Gym--or The Hidden Life of Gym Queens
(27 1/2 minutes)--is an investigation of the seething undercurrents of
passion at the metropolitan gay health club. A riproaring production with
dogs, fish, boys working out as seen through the windows of the Weho Sports
Connection and through the lens of the "gymbagcam" at a sports connection
"sister gym" and 5 "video valentines" interspersed throughout this "nature
show"--communiqués directed to fellas it seems impossible to talk
to in real life shot on various locales symbolic of my feverish feelings
for them. It's really a symphony of gay alienation, a lament on why can't
I have every single one I want who also wants me?
